I have the best Valentines! Look!
Friday was a fun day. We had TWO friends over. We played with toys, had lunch, decorated cookies, and exchanged Valentine cards (Jace has made so many Valentines that I don’t know what we’ll do with them – he just loves the stickers!).
After our friends left, my Valentine’s Day present arrived. I was excited for the chocolate covered strawberries. Jace was too…. But he was even more excited for the balloon! He thought it was so much fun to hold the balloon, let go, watch it float to the ceiling, then beg to be lifted up to reach it again. And repeat. And repeat. And repeat.
Jace actually woke up crying in the middle of the night last night because he was missing his balloon! This morning, we headed downstairs for a breakfast of chocolate covered strawberries. Jace likes pineapple, but decided it wasn’t so yummy right after chocolate!
Then we went back to playing with the balloon. Of course. After my arms got tired of lifting him to the ceiling, I finally convinced him we should tie the balloon to his tiny red teddy bear. That guy is the perfect weight for our new game – toss the balloon in the air and then run and catch him. Hours of entertainment. What a great Valentine’s Day present! Yay!
