Today was a day of errands. First we went to Barnes and Noble to buy “The No-Cry Sleep Solution”. The book claims to provide “gentle ways to help your baby sleep through the night”. I’m just hoping it will provide ways to get Jace to sleep more than 45 minutes at a time. Anyways, I digress. We went to Barnes and Noble and then wandered around the Lehigh Valley Mall. Jace was all smiles – and spent a lot of time pulling on Adam’s ears and trying to grab his teeth.
Then we headed over to a comic book store in the Whitehall Mall. Jace was adorable! He sifted through the long boxes of comics just like his daddy. He was so fascinated by the comic books I couldn’t even get him to look up for a picture!
After the comic book store, we went to Payless so Adam could get some new shoes. Jace crawled around the store and had the associates fighting over who should get to take him home (they offered Adam a free pair of shoes if they could keep Jace). From Payless we went home for a nap, then headed to Target. Jace was especially happy at Target. He was waving at everyone in the store and talking tons. Waving is his newest skill – he waves hi, bye, and any time in-between! When we walked down the diaper aisle, Jace decided it was time to play. He escaped the straps holding him into the shopping cart and got to a stand (yeah, we’ll have to be on the lookout for that now that we know he can escape!). Adam took him out of the cart and he was very interested in the nearby shelf. We let him check it out and he was thrilled! He spent a good 10 minutes climbing the boxes, shouting, and playing.

We finished up the day at CiCi’s Pizza. Jace was really hungry and ate a ton of baby food and chewed on plenty of stuff from our plates. His teeth are soooooooooooo close. And now he’s asleep! Which means I have about 35 minutes to get this posted and read “The No-Cry Sleep Solution” before he wakes up again!
